PROPHETSTOWN – Local vendors and families with gently used children's items to sell are invited to set up at the Mom2Mom Market, a benefit for Prophetstown Elementary School, that will be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 28 at the Prophetstown Middle School commons, 38 Ferry St.
Baby and children's toys, clothing up to size 14 and other items will be sold.
Admission is $2 from 7 to 8 a.m., and $1 thereafter.
Sellers can get an 11 1/2-foot-long table, with bench and garment rack space, for $25. Those selling big-ticket items, such as strollers, high chairs or outdoor playsets, need not rent a table, but 10 percent of the sale price of the item must be donated to the school.
Vendors – who can sell all kinds of products, not just those related to children – can rent a table for $20.
All sellers keep the money they make; it's the table fees that will be donated to the elementary school.
The deadline to register is April 15.
Organizers also are accepting donated items for their own sale table, and treats for a bake sale that will be held during the market. Those proceeds also will be given to the school.
