I don’t know about the rest of you, but I for one am getting weary of reading articles and cartoons in Sauk Valley Media about our president, Donald Trump, and his family.
Since when do we have the authority to ridicule the leader and rightly elected president of our great country? There are millions of us who prayed and prayed that God would put the person of his choice in the office of president in 2016. This man loves his country and is devoted to do his best for it.
Read in your Bible, in the book of Colossians 3:12 what God has to say about all of this: “As those who have been chosen by God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”
In Peter 2:1, God tells us to “put aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander and put on respect.”
Let’s all try to do our part to work as a team for the good of our country and listen to what God has to tell us and how to behave. Can we all be better examples for the next generation? God help us to do that.
