Eagle Point Park offers something for everyone with The Lodge, Prairie Pastures Dog Park, Disc Golf and more!

It is said that there was a discovery of a dead tree, located where the North Path reached the old well and a wild eagle had made its nest. From that point onward, Joyce's Park become known as Eagle Point Park.

Situated in Clinton and overlooking the Mississippi River, Eagle Point Park offers spectacular views across more than 200 acres. It is home to The Lodge, Prairie Pastures Dog Park, a disc golf course and several recreational trails.

Built in 1937, The Lodge is adorned by glass-screened fireplaces and provides a cozy ambience for any event. The vista span of the Lodge highlights the sparkling waters of the Mississippi River and overlooks Lock and Dam 13.

The facility recently underwent renovations in 2016, with a newly remodeled interior and exterior including a new concrete patio behind the lodge. The heated and air conditioned Lodge is available year-round as a rental facility.

Prairie Pastures Dog Park has something for every dog with over 8 acres of off-leash adventures!

The nationally recognized park is a unique, one-of-a-kind dog park experience. It is located on the site of an old zoo, which offers unusual structures and varied terrain, including a swimming pond.

The entrance to Prairie Pastures Dog Park is located inside Eagle Point Park. The park is open daily from 8 am until dusk. Day passes are $3 for the first dog and $1 for each additional dog. Memberships are available.

The Eagle Point Disc Golf Course is located along the north drive of Eagle Point Park. The 18-hole par 60 course offers a mix of both open and wooded holes to create a challenging course for players of all skill levels.

Eagle Point Park also features several recreational trails, including Discovery Trail, which is dedicated to three Clinton County astronauts.
